Frank A. Paxton
91 of Niskayuna, N.Y. entered into eternal life on Tuesday, Nov. 16th 2021 in the comfort of his home, with his loving wife, daughter and son by his side.
Frank was born on March 23, 1930 in Covington VA to Gladys Kelley and Archie Paxton. After graduating high school he served in the Army in the 82nd Airborne. He graduated from MIT in 1956. His class picture was placed on the famous cover of Life Magazine as "The Class most likely to succeed". Frank then relocated to Schenectady and continued his education at Union College. He then went on to be an Engineer, Physicist and Inventor at the Knolls Atomic Power Lab.
Frank and wife Joyce traveled extensively throughout the world, including Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, and New Zealand. They traveled also to Russia and transversed through the Panama Canal. He and she reveled in the beauty in all the different people and places that they encountered. Together they enjoyed their memberships in the Siena Opera Club, especially when the tours included Florida or New Mexico.
Frank is survived by his wife Joyce Ball-Paxton and his three children, Douglas, Linda and Kenneth and his wife Debora, his step children, Wayne Ball and Dennis and his wife Julia Ball, 12 grandchildren,Chastity, Michael, John, Noelle, Jessica, Christopher, Amber, Alexander, Makayla, Devin, step; Alexandra, Andrew and 17 great grandchildren
