DUANESBURG-Frederich "Fred" Barth, 78 passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. He was born in Albany, NY the son of the late John and Hedwig Barth. Fred honorably served in the Army National Guard and worked for Walter Motors in Voorheesville. In his younger days, he enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Elizabeth J. Barth; brother in law Norman "Buck" McConnell, Jr., sister in law Grace Barth, and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brother John Barth.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, June 16, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A funeral service will be held will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the funeral home.
