ROTTERDAM – Frederick A. Milo, 74, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Troy. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Frederick and Esther Milo.
Fred worked for the RTA Transit Services in Worcester. He retired from the Guilderland Central School District as a mechanic. Fred volunteered for the Guilderland Fire Department and also served on the Board of Directors for the Singles Outreach Service.
Fred is survived by his loving wife, Arlene A. Milo; children Frederick A. Milo, III of Schenectady, Deborah Clark of Longmont, CO, Susan Svingala of Albany, and Michelle Milo of Averill Park; stepchildren Kelly (David) Preston of Duanesburg, NY, Gary (Deborah) Fernbacher of West Milford, NJ, Gregory (Heather) Fernbacher of Kissimmee, FL, Kimberly (Michael) Stevens of Washington Court House, OH, and Guy (Pearl) Fernbacher of West Fulton, NY; sisters Elizabeth LaVigne of Pittsfield, MA, and Lucille (Arthur) LaFlamme of Hendersonville, NC; thirteen grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
