Frederick C. Danby Jr.

COLONIE – Frederick C. Danby Jr., 80, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Monday September 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Schenectady and was the son of the lat Frederick and Florence Danby Sr. Fred had served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a gifted mason and worked with Bricklayers Union Local #16 for many years. Fred was an avid fisherman and a baseball enthusiast.
He was predeceased in 2004 by his wife Helen Antoniewicz Danby. Fred is the devoted father of Mary Dawn (Wayne) Larson, Regis Marie (David) Hallenbeck and Frederick C. Danby III. He is the brother of Florence Bradley, Marion Kardas and Eva Andrews. Fred is the grandfather of Eric Larson, Michael, Matthew and Stephen Hallenbeck. He is the great grandfather of Michael Hallenbeck Jr. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4 to 6 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Funeral services and interment will be private.
