Averill Park - Frederick J. Eriole, Sr., 74, entered into his Heavenly home on Thursday, December 1, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Fred was the son of the late Paul and Olympia Eriole and was the beloved companion to Gloria J. Flynn.
Since his retirement from CDTA, Fred enjoyed working on small engines and watching Western movies. He also loved dancing to the Golden Oldies, spending time with his family and his Sunday pasta dinners sitting at the head of the table.
Fred will be dearly missed by his love Gloria; children: Kim Burns (Tom), Keith Eriole (Kim), Frederick Eriole, Jr. (Cindy), Gerryann Currier, Dina Yates (Dave), Gerianne Flynn and Alysha Flynn (Brian); grand children: Shannon, Meghan, Zachary, Chris, Kara, Alicia, Corey, Waverlee, Rachel, Casey, Tyler, Trevor, and Mackenzi.; great grand child: Skyelar; siblings: Albert, Paul, Victor, and Sandra; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Fred is predeceased by his siblings: Pauline, Joe, Anthony, Carl, and Ralph.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Sunday December 4, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:30 am with the burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
