Frederick J. Molitor, Jr.

COLONIE-Frederick J. Molitor, Jr., 84 of Colonie, NY passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Frederick was born in Colonie, NY the son of the late Ida (Fuller) and Frederick J. Molitor, Sr. He was a life resident of Colonie. Frederick was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy. He retired as a carpenter for Local #370 in Albany and after his retirement, he worked for St. Ann's Institute in Albany. He was a member of the Watervliet VFW City Post#729. Frederick enjoyed woodworking, especially making birdhouses, photography, feeding the birds and gardening.
Frederick is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Agnes (Hoefer) Molitor; his children Amy Courter, John Molitor, Jean Hill (Mark) and James Molitor (Joan); his grandchildren Jason Courter (Beth), Keith Molitor (Michelle), Nicholas Hill and Michael Hill and by a great grandson Brodyn Courter. He is also survived by his sister Ida Wilkus and by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a funeral service to immediately at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
