Frederick Macgregor

SCHENECTADY-Frederick E. MacGregor, 82, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 3, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Frederick was born in Lock Haven, PA, the son of the late William and Hazel Decker MacGregor. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean War from 1948 to 1952. Frederick was employed by A & P Warehouse for 24 years and retired from Schenectady International in 1995.
Besides his parents, Frederick was predeceased by his beloved wife Estelle MacGregor on October 27, 2011; by his beloved granddaughter Amy Lynn MacGregor on January 16, 1988 and his beloved grandson Albert Charles MacGregor, Jr. on October 1, 2012.
Frederick is survived by his devoted children Al and his wife Sue MacGregor, Diane Wishart and Fred and his wife Dawn MacGregor. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Ann, Miranda, Bobby, Christopher, Jenna, Matthew and Jason and by his great grandchildren Abigail, Allison and Olivia, his brother William MacGregor, along with several nieces and nephews.
The MacGregor family would like to thank Schenectady Hospice for the care and compassion that Frederick received during his illness.
Calling hours will be held from 10:30 to 12:30PM on Monday, January 7, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:30PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens with military honors.
