Albany- Frederick William "Bill" Noll, Jr, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Albany on November 10, 1932 to the late Frederick William, Sr. and Gertrude Hacker Noll. Bill is a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War on the USS Tingey DD-539. He was a member of the VFW in Albany.Bill worked for various companies throughout the region, Argus Greenwood, William's Press, Terminal Hardware and was a dedicated employee at Home Depot in Albany for almost 20 years. He loved to hunt, fish and bowl in his younger years. Most of all, Bill was loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by so many.
Bill is predeceased by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Elaine Stack Noll. Survived by his children, Frederick "Bill" Noll, III, Gary Noll and Tracey Noll; grandchildren, Kyle William, Aeriele Kristen, Tyler David, Kaylee Jo Marie and Mikayla Annamay; brother, Ronald Noll (Beverly); sister, Sandra Lorette; his dogs, Bear and Harley. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Bill is predeceased by his daughters, Karen Noll-Winne and Kimberly Lynn; brothers, Richard and John Noll and his sister, Faith Tomison.
Calling hours for Bill will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 1pm until 4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, 12204.
