"Why worry when you can pray?" [Fred Soloby]
On 11:47am, Thursday, December 12, 2019, Frederick Soloby a beloved local evangelist, tv repair technician and taxi driver, passed away at the age of 70.
Fred Soloby was born on January 28, 1949, in Albany, NY to Roman and Virginia Soloby in Albany Medical Center. He received his high school education from Hackett Junior High School.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Roman and Virginia Soloby, his uncles Albert and Richard, aunts Pearl, Sylvia, Margaret, Maryanne, Bernice. He is survived by his siblings Virginia Christina Soloby, Fred and Wanda Parella and their children's families Ron, Deanna, Ashley and Cody Custard. Tony, Rosa, Alyssa, Angelina and Alex Rose Parella. Al, Olga, Vincent, Maksim and Amelia Parella. Vance, Katia, Elizabeth and David Zion Parella. Yolanda, Marco, Crystal, Collin, Cassidy and Carter Kinsley.
Though Frederick Soloby never experienced the joy and privilege to marry and to have children, he unequivocally understood the greatest privilege for a single flawed man in light of death was to preach the eternal gospel of Jesus Christ. He was known by hundreds around the Capital Region as a kindred soul and passionate street evangelist who loved God and his neighbors. He will be missed by all who truly knew him and loved him.
And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead. [Acts 10:42]
Until we meet again, RIP Frederick Soloby
