Morris, NY, she was .COLONIE – Freeda Gullo Tuscano, 95, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Albany County Nursing Home. Born on January 14, 1916 in Mt. Morris, NY, she was the daughter of Maria and Nunzio Nasca.
Freeda was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Gullo, and second husband Thomas Tuscano; sisters Angeline Mogavero, Mary Graziano, and brothers Joseph and Sam Nasca.
She is survived by her daughter Frances and husband Lowell Nichols; grandchildren Kimberly Dergosits, Keith and wife Debra Nichols, Lowell Patrick Nichols and friend Shelli Lawrence; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Albany County Nursing Home for their excellent care of Freeda.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Friends and family may call prior to Mass from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be Monday in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt. Morris, NY.
