Gabrillie Willis

Albany- Gabrillie Ann Willis, 39, passed suddenly on Friday, October 21, 2005. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Hilda Willis and George McDougel. She was a graduated of the Albany Street Academy in 1985.
Gabrillie is the mother of Jaquasia Willis of Troy, Kertrice R. Willis of Germantown, and Uneka Redford of Albany. She is the sister of Arylee Willis of Germantown, Debra Thompson of Hudson, Nathanie (Mary) Willis of Canandaigua, Christine Willis and Corey (Nicole) of Troy, Carolyn of Green Island, Victoria Venable of Schenectady, Anna King of Albany, Willie Maye, Jr. of Staten Island, and Maurice Fitzgerald of Albany. She is the granddaughter of Arylee Artis Washington of Albany. Gabrillie is also survived by her caregiver and special friend Gladys Smith, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 at Walls Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 27 Delaware St., Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
