Gail A. Baker

Troy- Gail A. Baker, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 after a brief illness at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William J. Lavinus and Margaret M. (McInerney) Lavinus. Gail is predeceased by her husband Donald R. Baker. 

Gail was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. She was employed at Cluett, Peabody & Co. Inc. in Troy for many years and Sixnet, LLC before retiring. 

She is survived by her daughter Kristine Riley. She was the loving “Grammy” to Sarah Cole and Ryan Cole. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren Nathan Pasinello & Jordan Pasinello. She is also survived by several cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 9, 2025 from 12pm-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will be held on Monday the 10th at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
