Gail L. Hoffman

KNOX – Gail Lyn Hoffman, 55, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Albany Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Troy and raised in Colonie, she was the daughter of Kathryn Hoffman and the late Kurt Hoffman.
Gail worked for Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 35 years. She was a member of Berne Reformed Church. In her free time, Gail enjoyed scrapbooking and taking photographs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends and her faithful canine Emmy.
Along with her mother Kathryn, Gail will be missed by her children, Amanda Garry of Albany and Matthew Garry of Greenville; sister Debra Tagliento; brother David Hoffman; beautiful granddaughters Rebecca Jean Garry and Grace Elizabeth Garry, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, One Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110 or Berne Reformed Church, 1664 Helderberg Trail, Berne, NY 12023 in Gail's name.
