Albany- Gail Wright passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2015. Gail Louise Wright was survived by her daughter Lillian Wright. She was an artist of flowers, needle crafts, gardening and more. Gail was a florist for over 30 years brightening peoples many occasions with her gifts. In her final years she was a full time employee of Walmart.
She was my best friend and Mother. She had never left my side in all 33 years of my life. She was a beautiful and loving woman I will miss till my last day. She taught me her knowledge of plants and nature, kindness to everyone and every animal and optimistic spirit. At the end of a bad day she would say "Tomorrow's a new day; we'll try again tomorrow". She always believed in me and loved me; I will use the strength and the smarts she taught me to continue on as she would have wanted me to. My Mother welcomed and friended many people from all backgrounds. No services will be held; instead we will gather as she loved to do and have a barbeque in her honor. We will talk of our good times with her and the memories that make her my Mother and a great woman. For anyone that knew her she could make you laugh and tell a story of the old times. Whether you knew her from floral industry or waitressed with her before I was born; she touched so many and loved so many people. We will gather in remembrance of Gail on August 23, 2015, from 12pm-4pm at Grafton State park in Cropseyville , NY @ Rabbit Run pavilion. For more information email lil73131@gmail.com.
