Gail Quiñones, 70, beloved wife of Juan Quiñones of Valatie, N.Y., fell asleep in death on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at home in Valatie surrounded by family.

She attended school in Poughkeepsie, New York. She established roots in Columbia County and would begin a career with Price Chopper Supermarkets in Hudson, New York. She retired after 38 years of service. She was also an active member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Schodack, New York.

Survived by her children, Sheila Powers of Temple Terrace, Florida, Juan Quinones, Jr. of Valatie, NY, and Justin Quinones of Ghent, NY as well as her grandchildren, Alyssa Hines of Temple Terrace, Florida and Lacey Nevin of Lafayette, Colorado; five great grandchildren, Mia and Everett Hines and Ashtyn, Carsyn and Jase Nevin. She is also survived by her sister, Sheila Trombini of Rhinebeck, NY, her brothers, Clayton Herriman of Pleasant Valley, and David Cole of Rhinebeck, NY.

She is predeceased by her parents, Haskell and Gertrude Herriman of Rhinebeck, NY, her sister, Jacqueline Vansteenburg of Red Hook, NY and her brother Eugene Herriman of Highland, NY.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 1169 Route 9 Schodack, NY 12033
