Garrett Bedell Sherman
July 24, 1940 — January 2, 2017
Albany - Garrett Bedell Sherman, 77, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Garrett was the son of the late Harold and Rose Sherman.
Garrett loved horse racing, and "Bud" and "Knot." Garrett served in the Navy as an Electrician's Mate Second Class PO and retired from General Electric as a Machinist.
Garrett is survived by his daughter, Hope Sherman (Garrett's rock); his brother, Roger Sherman, and his sister,Verna Searles. Garrett will be greatly missed by his close friend, Carol.
Garrett was predeceased by his son, Eric Sherman and his brothers, Kenneth and Charles Sherman
At Garrett's request, a private interment will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
