Gary L. Flaherty Ii
December 30, 1965 — February 13, 2023
Colonie- Gary L. Flaherty II, 57, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023. Gary was employed with the National Guard at the Watervliet Arsenal for 35 years as a Supply Technician and Supervisor until his retirement. He was known for his outgoing, caring and empathetic personality, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Gary is survived by his son, Gary J. Flaherty; beloved partner, Danielle Rapp; father, Gary L. Flaherty; sisters, Theresa Painter, Patti Quill and Michelle Williams; former wife and cherished friend, Nadine Flaherty.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 20th from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY, with a service to follow at 12PM. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, www.yourcpf.org
