Gary A. Grant, 86, husband of Patricia Grant, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Ellis Hospital.
He was born in Port Henry, NY to the late William and Violet Grant.
On March 30, 1957 Gary was married to his beloved wife, Patricia at St. Cecilia church in Warrensburg, NY. Gary had a long standing career with the power company, National Grid/ Niagara Mohawk and retired as line superintendent in Schenectady, NY.
Gary is survived by his wife, Patricia and his four children Gary (Pamela) Grant, Mark Grant, Suzanne (Joseph) Corradi, and William Grant; had 8 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Barbara) Grant, Rudolph (David Siders) Grant and sister in law Gretchen Grant.
He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, William (Anna) Grant and Victor Grant, and his son in law, Joseph Corradi.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
Burial will be private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gary's honor to Hadley Fire Tower C/O Steve Mackey, Treasurer PO box 4501 Queensbury, NY 12804.
