AVERILL PARK — Gary White, 58, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, surrounded by the love of his family.
Gary was born in Troy, NY on July 5, 1959, to Robert and Angela Vumbaco-White. In 1991 Gary met the love of his life, Suzanne Slater. They were together for 26 years. Gary will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, hunting, animals, and spending time on the lake. Gary was a loyal employee and manager of Bay State Pool Supply for over 15 years. He will treasure all of the friendships he made there.
Gary was predeceased by his father, Robert White, and his sister, Catherine (Richard) Zalucky.
He is survived by his beloved partner, Suzanne Slater, his stepdaughter, Sarah Slater, his grand-daughters, Brittany Barney-Calhoun and Deanna Barney, his great-granddaughter, Charlotte Brice-Calhoun, his mother, Angela White, his siblings, Robert White, Christine (Michael) Filuta, Frank (Davida) White, Paul (Lois) White, John White, Wendy (the late Fred) Braunstein, Connie (Joe) Schreiner, Patrick White, Joseph (Michael Petrille) White, David (Angela) White, and Michael (Kimberly) White, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of Gary's life will be held at a later date.
