Gayle S. Whinnery

NISKAYUNA – Gayle S. Whinnery, 42, of Niskayuna, passed away suddenly on Monday November 14, 2011 at Ellis Hospital.

She was born in Niskayuna and was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Green.
Gayle was employed at Life's-A-Stitch in Niskayuna as the Operations Manager. She was a computer graphics enthusiast.

Gayle is survived by her beloved husband Russell E. Whinnery. She is the devoted mother of Shannon Whinnery and Jeremy Whinnery. Gayle is the sister of Janet Hermance, Eric Green and Wayne Green. She is the dear friend of Iris Perez, Peggy Kownack and Marjory Corrow.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Gayle S. Whinnery.
