LATHAM- Gene P. Massenburg, DDS, age 88, passed away surrounded by family on January 30, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital.
He was born in Wake Forest, NC, the son of the late Oscar Massenburg and Mary Young. He was predeceased by his sister, Everlina Trapp.
He practiced dentistry in the Albany area for over 30 years from which he retired. He was a baptized Jehovah's Witness for many years and found great joy in his service.
Gene is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lartha Massenburg; daughter, Melanie Darden (Lynwood Andre), Waterford, NY; granddaughter, Lauren Darden, Waterford, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
