Genetta Rogers

COLONIE-Genetta (Ferro) Rogers, 85, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 following an illness. She was born in Watervliet, NY the daughter of the late Sebastian and Concetta (Ascenzo) Ferro. Genetta was the devoted wife of the late Hugh "Bud" Rogers and is the mother of Deborah (James) Farrington and the loving grandmother of Julie (Eric) Gansle, Kristy (David) Mantei and the loving great grandmother "GG" of Dylan, Logan and Jayden Gansle and Ava, Rocco and Christian Mantei. She is also survived by her sister Frances Marilla; her brothers John (Theresa) Ferro and Anthony (Mary) Ferro and several nieces and nephews. Genetta was predeceased by her sisters Mary Huttner and Angeline Altieri.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.
Entombment will be at St. Agnes Mausoleum, Menands at 10 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2015.
