COLONIE - Genevieve (Rohrmiller) Dougall, 84, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Gustav and Genevieve Cahill Rohrmiller. Mrs. Dougall had worked for the National Commercial Bank in Albany and the New York State Police. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
Genevieve is the devoted mother to Charlene (James) Tarantino and cherished grandmother of Christopher and Brendan Tarantino all of Rotterdam; loving sister of Virginia Govel of Colonie; loving aunt to Bob Govel of Cobleskill, NY and Karen (Michael) McDermott of Pennsylvania and several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by four great nieces and 1 great nephew. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, George Edward Dougall. He passed away on August 15, 2003.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they gave to Genevieve.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon Tuesday at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. There will be no calling hours.
