Genevieve Mcgarry

COLONIE-Genevieve M. McGarry, 89, of Colonie, passed way on Thursday March 8, 2007 after a brief illness. She was born in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late John and Geneva Zola.
Genevieve had resided in Slingerlands for over thirty five years before moving to Colonie. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Genevieve had a special love for animals. She was predeceased in 1985 by her husband William W. McGarry.
She is the beloved mother of William McGarry Jr (Rose) of Ocala, FL, Maureen Vasquez (Frank) of Florida, Janice Doyle (James) of Albany and Joanne Winaroski of Latham. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 9:00 at Newcomer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden.
