Geoffrey Morris Windom

ALBANY – Geoffrey Morris Windom, 49, of Albany, passed away suddenly at home, with his family on Friday, January 23, 2009. Geoffrey was born on April 6, 1959 is the son of Ruby Windom and the late William Windom. He was employed by Picotte Co., where he worked for over 10 years. Geoffrey graduated from Albany High School and attended Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY. He was married in 1984 to Isabelle Sheldon and from this union one son was born. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ruby Windom; two sons, William H. Windom and David Gunn Windom; one daughter, Ruby Marie Windom and his fiancé, Barbara Gunn all of Albany. Also surviving are two sisters, Sharon Windom and Laura (Windom) Davis and one brother, Kenneth Windom; sister-in-law, Laura June Windom and brother-in-law, Keith Davis all of Albany. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. Geoffrey was predeceased by his father, William Windom and his wife, Isabelle N. Windom.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 noon at Wilborn Temple, Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
