Colonie- George C. Brown, 80, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living Facility in Virginia Beach, VA on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Born in Birmingham, AL he was the son of the late of Odessa and George C. Brown Sr. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Clarissa Brown.
George attended and graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. He severed four years in the United States Army and a paratrooper before his honorable discharge. He was a big sports fan following the NBA and NFL. George was a restaurant connoisseur and enjoyed dining out with his wife.
He is survived by his son Manoleto Brown and his brother in law Charles Lee Braddock. He was the proud uncle to Joshua E. Braddock, Shannon J. Braddock and Charles Roshon Braddock.
A calling hour will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 10am-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A service will begin at 11am with interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park.
