George E. Tryon

Schenectady- Geroge Ernest Tryon, born May 26, 1927 at his home in Voorheesville, NY, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015.
George was married to the late Florence M. Tryon, and was the son of the late Ernest and Olivia Tryon.
George's father died young, so George had to support the family. He worked at Albany Casting in Voorheesville for 15 years, and then he worked at the Highway Dept., in Guilderland for 25 years.
George was a member of the Northeast Toy Club in Albany, Hudson Mohawk Chapter of Pioneer Gas Engine Assoc., and the lower Hudson Valley Gas Engine Assoc.
George is predeceased by his brother, Paul, and his sister, Jessie. He is survived by his brother, Walter, his niece, Diane, and his nephews, Walter Jr., and Chuck Tryon.
He will be remembered by his dedicated son, Patsy M. Burns, who was the caregiver of both his mother and father for the last 10 years.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, with a service to follow.
