George Joseph Hadden

Albany - George Joseph Hadden, 83, passed away Tuesday, August 20,2019 with his loving family by his side. George was the son of the late George and Mary (Murphy) Hadden. George was a devoted husband to Edith Margaret Hadden.

George enjoyed spending his time around family and friends. George loved the outdoors; you could always find him in the yard or in the garage, fixing things, working on the lawn, feeding the birds, listening to the oldies, or just relaxing in the sun. George was a man who liked to keep busy.

He worked in construction alongside his son George into his 80's. Rain, snow, or shine, he was out and about trying to provide for his family.

For hobbies, he liked to play golf, watch American Pickers, play backyard games, was an avid fan of Wheel of Fortune, and enjoyed watching many sports.

George is survived by his son George R. Hadden, daughters Victoria Conde and her husband Jim Conde, Christine Gillespie, Sheri Dickson and her husband Tim Dickson, Amanda Hadden, and Mary Hadden. Grandchildren, Bobby Aubrey, Ashley Hadden, Jason Conde, Eric Conde, John McDonald, Patrick Gillespie, Tim Jr., Tiffany Dickson, and Eric Dickson. His first wife, Patricia, and her siblings Gaye, Maureen, Grace, and Richard. As well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

George is predeceased by his siblings, Delores, Wesley, Stuben, Clifford, Patricia, and beloved sister-in-law, Elaine.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Margaret Hadden to help cover medical bills and defray final expenses.
