REXFORD- George M. Kolath Jr., age 11, passed away in a fatal airplane crash along with his father George on Sunday June 14, 2009.
He is the oldest son born December 15, 1998 to George M and Annie Kolath
George was a 5th grade student at St. Pius X School in Loudonville. He was a very talented and smart young boy. He was an accomplished chess player and he enjoyed playing soccer, baseball and swimming. George has five younger siblings, Thomas Alexander, Diana, Victoria and Sara.
Wake services will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and Friday from 10am to 12:30pm at St. Peter's Armenian Apostolic Church, 100 Troy-Schenectady Rd. Watervliet. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 12:30 at the Church. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. To leave a special message for the family online, visit NewcomerAbany.com
