Schenectady - George J. Ouillette, 74, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 with his loving family by his side. George was the son of the late George and Beulah Ouillette. George was the devoted husband to Carolyn Ouillette. They were married 56 years.
George was a life member volunteer for Stanford Heights Fire Department. He was a truck driver and a member of Local 294 Teamsters for over 30 years. George enjoyed both camping and boating at Lake George and Sacandaga Lake with his family and friends.
George is survived by his children, Brian (Patty), Janet, George; grandchildren, Sean and Ryan; his brother, Gerald; several nieces, nephews and friends.
George was predeceased by his sister, Beulah Cooper.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George's memory to Community Hospice, St. Peter's Hospital Foundation, 310 S. Manning Boulevard, Albany, NY 12208.
