COLONIE – George Sidney Murray, 57, of Colonie, passed away on January 30, 2013 surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with heart disease.
He was born February 22, 1955 and raised in Albany by his late parents, Sidney Murray and Betty Jane Rosenburg. George was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as one of the leading salesman in the building industry and more recently was a driver at Yellow Cab Company. George is survived by his wife, Joann Kubisch Murray and his loving children, Courtney (Maria) Murray and Steven (Ashley) Murray. He is the brother of Calvin Edward (Doris) Murray, Sidney Murray, Susan Libertucci, Rosetta Murray and the late Mary Murray. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
George's thoughts were for his family whom he loved with all of his heart. They will miss him very much.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
