George T. Thompson, Jr.

ALBANY - On March 17, 2011, George T. Thompson Jr., 67, entered into eternal rest at Albany Medical Center Hospital. George was born October 12, 1943 to the late Deacon George T. Thompson, Sr. and Reverend Sally M. Thompson.

George leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mary Thompson; children, Anthony Thompson, Pauline Morton, Yvette (Vincent) Outing-Howard, Belinda (Melvin) Faust, Lovette Outing, Shevette Thompson, and Christine Whitfield; two sisters, Reverend Eloise M. Frazier and Mrs. Ruby Carraway; an aunt, Ruby O. Jones and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His goddaughter, Kassandra Lacey also survives.

George was predeceased by his sister, Joyce E. Babb, brother, Jesse W. Thompson, and his grandson, Emmanuel Albea.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be held prior to service from 10:00 to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Repast will be at St. John's Church, Albany.
