George Thomas, Jr.

George Thomas, Jr., 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2011. George was born in Mooridian, Alabama to the late George and Tempie Thomas. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Robert Thomas.
George is survived by his loving fiancé, Barbara Lunday; his children, Mary Alice (Thomas) King, Joyce Thomas, George (Cheryl) Thomas III and Tony Thomas, his step-daughter, Delores Smith. He is the cherished grandfather of; Ja-Navia Thomas, La-Roi Thomas, Bridgette Singletary, Georgiana Thomas, Robert Smith, Genelle Louis and Lawrence Smith. He is the brother of, Juanita Neibors. He is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 pm at Mt. Olive Southern Missionary Baptist Church, Albany. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady.
