George W. Reimenschneider

EAST GREENBUSH – George W. Reimenschneider, 64, of East Greenbush, passed away suddenly on Sunday November 20, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Jeffersonville, NY and was the son of the late William and Mary Reimenschneider. He attended SUNY @ Albany. George was employed for many years as Assistant Vice President in the Finance division at the former Fleet Bank. More recently, he was employed with Loomis Armored Car Service. George was an avid coin collector, He enjoyed his family, music and visiting the ocean.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Judith A. Lewis Reimenschneider. He is the devoted father of Justin W. Reimenschneider and Morgan L. Vanat. He is the brother of Dorothy Russell, Joseph Graffmuller and the late Arthur Grafmuller and Marjorie Cowan. He is the brother in law of Beatrice Graffmuller, Ronald Lewis, Jill Boyd and Richard Channon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush NY. Memorial contributions may be made to W.F Bruen Rescue Squad, 1116 Red Mill Rd. Rensselaer, NY 12144.
