Georgia Morris

ALBANY – Georgia L. Morris, 61, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Atlanta, GA, she has resided in Albany for 44 years. Mrs. Morris was a health aide for many years, in both Albany and Toledo, OH. She was a longtime member of the Welcome Chapel on Chestnut Street in Albany. Georgia is the wife of Bobby Morris and mother of Barbara Morris, both of Albany. She is the sister of Dessie Mae Ramsey of Langdale, AL and Jessie Ramsey of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
