Georgianna Palo

Schenectady- Georgianna Marie Palo, 53, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2005 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, NY she is the daughter of Josephine (Zannitto) Marx of Colonie and the late George Marx, Jr. A homemaker all her life Georgianna enjoyed crafts, and garage sales. She was also an avid collector of various items.
Including her mother, Georgianna leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of almost 20 years Richard Palo of Schenectady, her brother George Marx III of Scotia, her sister Susan Glitsis and her husband Kostas of Colonie. Georgianna is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Marx, Dawn Marx, George Marx IV, Philip Glitsis, Carly Palo, Jenifer Palo, and Matti W. Palo III, and five great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Georgianna M. Palo.
