Gerald M. Bradt, 88, of Colonie passed away at home, surrounded by family on 12/8/2020. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Robert Bradt (deceased in WW2) and Estelle Kuczinsky, who later remarried Matthew Galvin.
After serving in the Air Force during the Korean War, he worked in electrical sales and devoted his spare time to family and home, always ready to help anyone in need.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years Mary and his siblings Robert and Doris.
He is survived by his brother John, his children Douglas and Sandra, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
