Gerald R. Foote, 93, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2015 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters.
Gerald was born October 4, 1921, in Malone, New York, the son of the late Ralph and Grace Foote.
Proudly served with the United States Marine Corp. during WWII. Gerald worked for NY Tele as an Engineer for over 32 years. He loved camping, fishing, gardening and vacationing with his family.
In addition to his parents, Gerald is predeceased by his brother Donald Foote and his sister Marjorie Young.
Gerald is survived by his beloved wife of over 63 years, Rogene Foote; he is the cherished father of William (Roseanne) Foote, David (Angela) Foote, Melanie (Russell) Weinlein, and Ginny Brim; and the adored grandfather of Andrew, Dan and Samantha. He is also survived by his sister Barbara (Olin) Cook and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be in Malone, NY with Spaulding Funeral Home at a later date.
