Gerald J. Gregory

Gerald J. Gregory, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Glendale Nursing hone, surrounded by his loving family. Gerald was born in Albany to the late Harold and Caroline Gregory. Gerald proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed for over 25 years with Orange motors and later was the Owner/Operator of Gregory Motors in Albany. Gerald loved watching NASCAR, and camping with his family.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife of over 57 years, Ellen (Mirabile) Gregory; his beloved children, Gerald (Sandra) Gregory Jr., Robert (Kathy) Gregory and Gail (Michael) Munroe. He is the cherished grandfather of; Scott, Melanie, Keith, Kelly, Amber, Stacy, Andrea, Kaylee, Taylor, Jeanne and Michael. He is the great-grandfather of Lanie and Riley. He is the brother of Phyllis Paulson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Glendale Nursing Home for all of their care and kindness shown to Gerald and his family during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in Gerald's memory.
