Gerald K. Jordan (Jerry) ,74, Loving husband of Carole A. Jordan, passed away peacefully into eternal life surrounded by his loved ones on April 11th, 2024 at St. Peter's Hospital.

Jerry was born in Troy, NY on January 26th,1950. He was the son of the late Gerald C. Jordan and Edna M. (Murphy) Jordan. Jerry graduated from Troy High School and then worked as a meat cutter at Price Chopper for 47 years from where he retired. During his younger years, he was a drummer with the band ,The Transistors, which played at many venues in the Capital Region. He was also an avid jogger, even carrying the Olympic torch through Troy, NY for the Olympic torch relay run in the 90's. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren. He loved attending their sporting events and was always there to support them when he could. He also was a lifelong NY Yankees and NY Giants fan and loved to watch every game. He would frequently attend NY Yankee games with his friends Lee and Ralph and bring his grandchildren along whenever he had the opportunity. During his retirement, He enjoyed his weekly breakfasts with his brothers John and Joe and lifelong friends Ralph, Chris, and Fred from childhood. His most favorite times were spending time with the Lord. You would often see Jerry in the early mornings sitting on his lawn chair in the backyard reading his Bible and enjoying nature.

Jerry is survived by his wife Carole from Troy, NY whom he shared 56 years of marriage with. He is survived by his Daughter Cindy Muller (James) of Troy, NY, His Grandchildren Monica Seyffer (Michael) of Pittstown, NY, Holly Muller of Troy, NY, James Muller of Troy, NY, His great grandchildren Nathaniel Nolan, Michael Seyffer Jr, Matthew Seyffer, Lucas Olivencia and David Parker Jr. He is survived by his brothers John Jordan (Karen) of Cohoes,NY, Joseph Jordan (Rosa) of Troy, NY and his sister Jennelle Lewis (Herbie) of Lake Luzerne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours and funeral service at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY, Visiting on Wednesday April 17, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday April 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the services at Elmwood Hill Cemetery, 51 Belle Ave., Troy, NY 12180.
