Gerald W. Colliton, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Apr 21, 2013 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home of a massive heart attack. He was born in Albany, and is the son of the late Gerald Colliton and Jean Colliton. He was born in Albany and lived here all of his life. He graduated from Albany High School in 1970 and worked at Armory Garage for several years and then at Price Chopper. Gerry was a regular at O'Heaney's and then the Washington Tavern. He loved his family, the Yankees and life. Music was his passion.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Joseph Robinson.
Gerry is survived by his loving siblings; Pamela Robinson, Debra Bauer and James Colliton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his great nephew Andrew.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home for all of their care and compassion given to Gerry.
Funeral service for Gerald will be today, Tuesday, Apr 23, 2013 at 10:00 am at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. The calling hours were Monday, Apr 22, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
