COLONIE- Geraldine M. Hillman, 90, of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center.
She was born in Muro Lucano, Italy and was the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Ramundo Miele. Geraldine enjoyed bowling, bingo and crossword puzzles. She was active with meals and social events at Bishop Broderick Apartments. She was predeceased by her husband Paul V. Hillman and her son Raymond J. Hillman.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Paula J. Hillman of Millbury, MA; her grand daughters, Christine Garhartt and Teresa (Bob) Coffey; great grandchildren, Eric, Nina, Nicole, Devon and Ryan. She is the sister of Philomena (Fannie) Bianchini, Ann Vadney, Mario (Jean) Miele and the late Anthony Miele, Peter Miele, and Lucy Cardone. Mother in law of Lorraine Hillman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 on Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
