Geraldine (Geri) Mohr, 88, passed away on Monday June 11, 2018 after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Erie, PA and was the daughter of Charles and Arline Miller of Salamanca, NY.
Geri lived in Salamanca, NY and graduated from Salamanca High School in 1948. She married Richard J. Mohr who had served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946.
Geri and Richard moved to Troy, NY where they had their eldest son, Jay T. Mohr. Soon after that they moved to Albany, NY where Sharon and Richard C. were born. Richard J. Mohr was a Building Superintendent for the NYS Education Dept and he passed away September 26, 2005.
Geri and her family moved to Guilderland, NY and attended the Lynnwood Reformed Church. Geri also worked for the NYS Dept of Taxation and Finance.
Geri loved her family, she loved to travel and recently took a trip to Africa for her granddaughters wedding.
She enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends. She and her husband traveled throughout Europe during their marriage.
Geri was also very involved with the Genealogy Association of Albany, NY and Western NY. She researched Genealogy at the State Library in Albany NY.
She was a devoted wife and loving and supporting mother and the greatest Grammie to her grandchildren. She loved life and she had a great sense of humor. During her later years through aches and pains, she was always ready for her next adventure.
Geri is survived by three children. Jay T. Mohr (Nancy) of East Schodack, NY. Sharon P. Mohr of West Covina, CA and Richard (Thumper) C. Mohr (M.Martha) of Guilderland, NY. Granddaughter Jamie L. Mohr of East Schodack, NY. Erika K. Holland (Murray) of Capetown Africa, Karl J. Mohr (Lauren) of Slingerlands, NY, Emily M. Mohr and Samuel R. Mohr of Guilderland, NY. And one great- granddaughter, Odell R. Bouchard of Stephentown, NY. Geri is also survived by her Cousin, June Woodin of Salamanca, NY.
Their will be a Rememberence Service at The Lynnwood Reformed Church, 3714 Carman Rd. Schenectady, NY 12303 on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 6:30 pm.

Geraldine will be buried at the Saratoga National Cemetery next to her husband, Richard J. Mohr.
