Geraldine Thompson (Mott), 75 passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 surrounded by her family at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Wallace, N.C. to the late James and Sendonia Mott. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Lee Thompson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory Regina (Mark) Middleton, Andrea (Lennox)Howe, Darlene Thompson and Marsha (Simeon) Tulloch; nine Grandchildren, DaShell and Jawan Middleton; Jaden, Jamar, Jammod Howe; Samira, Deja, Ariana Cassell and Ian Tulloch; four great grandchildren, Ci'arra Middleton, Cadeem, Jr., Cadence Halsey and Adria McPherson. She also leaves behind her sisters, Myrtle (Jessie) Battle, Annie Herring, Rosia Mott, Hazel (Jerry) Ware and Brenda (Clayton) Woods and two brothers, Ruben (Joanne) Mott, and Ronnie (Jackie) Mott; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Sabrina Uzzell and Arielle Gray, who held a special place in her heart.
Geraldine was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Lacy Mott, Walter Mott, Alice Artis, Willie Mott and Francis Mott

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ, 562 Clinton Avenue, Albany, NY, from 10am-11am. A Funeral service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery, 680 Delaware Ave, Albany.
