DELMAR – Gerard B. Gavin, Jr., 62, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born on September 2, 1948 in Albany and was the son of the late Gerard B. and Virginia A. (Joinville) Gavin, Sr. He was a Fingerprint Examiner II for 24 years with the Department of Criminal Justice Services in Albany before retiring on December 30, 2010. He was always the first to respond. He enjoyed snowshoeing, nature walks, swimming, gardening, history, playing cards - especially bridge, and was an avid Yankees fan.
