Gertrude Estelle Carson

Colonie - Gertrude Estelle Carson, 90, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Estelle was the daughter of the late John and Mildred MacDougall. Estelle was the devoted wife to the late Travis Carson. They were married 60 years.
Estelle attended St. Luke's School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. After retiring from nursing, Estelle became a travel agent, fulfilling her lifelong love of traveling.
Estelle is survived by her children, Charles Carson (Jane McCloskey), Linda (Jim) McIntyre, Nancy (Frank) Padula; her grandchildren, Ben McIntyre and Joshua, Avery and Caleb Padula.
Estelle is predeceased by her son, Brian Carson and her brothers, Dugall and Herbert MacDougall.
A funeral service will be held at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 49 Killean Park, Albany, at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Interment will immediately follow the service at St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
Donations may be made in Estelle's name to St. Michael's Episcopal Church or Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
