Gertrude L. Dozier , 49, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side.
Gertrude was the daughter of Joan Casey and the late Isaac Dozier.
She enjoyed helping others, she was a social butterfly who loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter Juliana, "her darling".
In addition to her father she was predeceased by her sister Julianne Brooks.
Gertrude is survived by her mother, Joan; her children, Orlando Rodriguez Jr., Celina Melendez; her sisters and brothers, Hiram, Randy, Beverly, Ray, Dorothy, Kim, Lisa and David. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Juliana and many nieces, nephews and close family and friends.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 12:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, New York. A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.
