ALBANY, NY - Gertrude T. Ewing, 86, passed away on Friday December 14, 2007 in Albany. She was born November 1, 1921 in Pittsfield, MA and was the daughter of the late Hector L. and Josephine Grady Renaud.
Gertrude resided in Sandwich, MA for 20 years before moving to Albany in 2002. She was a member of the AARP in Cape Cod and she enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
She was the wife of the late John J. Ewing Sr. who died on June 25, 1998 and the sister of the late Catherine M. Renaud who died on October 30, 2004.
Gertrude is survived by her 2 sons, John J Ewing Jr. and Michael F. (Linda) Ewing; her two daughters, Judith (Mark) Moon and Mary (Ben) Neely and her 11 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 31, 2007 at St. Theresa Chapel in Sagamore, MA at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
