Gertrude Zehner

Guilderland- Gertrude Zehner, 59, passed away on Sunday, April 01, 2007, at Albany Medical Center Hoispital. Born in Bayside, NY, she was the daughter of Madeline Zehner. Gertrude had been a part of the Center for the Disabled Residential Services since 1985and was also receiving assistance from the Smith Center Day Services. She was loved by many and was known for her feisty personality.
Gertrude is survived by her many friends and caregivers, especially her dear friend and roommate Josephine.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1000 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Disability Services, 314 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208, in memory of Gertrude Zehner.
