SCHENECTADY – Gilbert C. Bindewald, Jr., 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at his home.
Gilbert was born on December 20, 1932 in Cohoes and was the son of the late Gilbert C. and Alice Backer Bindewald. He was a graduate of Union College and Siena College. He attended the Lishakill Reformed Church.
Gilbert is survived by his wife, Elizabeth J. Pierce Bindewald of Schenectady; his son, Gilbert C. (Bernadette) Bindewald III and his granddaughter, Isabel Bindewald all of Burtonsville, MD.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at Memory's Garden, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
